If you were at one of our recent performances of Bach’s St Matthew Passion you will have noted the absence of a usually ubiquitous figure – the conductor.

In this pre-concert talk recorded prior to the London performances OAE musicians Nick Logie (viola), Alison Bury (Leader, violin) and Steven Devine (keyboard) discuss how this was achieved.
